You are probably aware that there are upfront costs that must be paid before a tenant moves in. At Foster & Edwards Estate Agents, we require 1 months rent in advance less 1 weeks holding deposit. The security deposit, which will be placed into an approved deposit scheme, is typically 5 week’s rent.
We know that circumstances change and it may be that a tenant is moving out to be replaced by the new tenant. In these circumstances we deem this to be a change of sharers and there are several administrative matters we must deal with when this occurs. The following charges are our most up to date change of sharers fees.
