In a nutshell: yes – even during the lockdown starting this January 2021. The government has advised to try and move house without help from people outside your household or support bubble where possible. Removals firms and estate agents will stay open, and you can still attend in-person viewings (where necessary)..
All parties involved should be as flexible as possible over this period and be prepared to delay moves if someone becomes ill during the process, or has to self-isolate. The government are also recommending that initial viewings take place virtually for now. If you must have any face-to-face contact with anyone outside your household during the moving process, you must practise social distancing (where possible) and wash your hands regularly.
